Deadly Incidents involving Law enforcement and extremists

 

¨        August 2001: Officer John Bohach (Reno, NV PD) killed with a high-power rifle during a standoff by a member of the Christian Identity movement who hated the government and police.

¨        August 2002: Officer Eric Taylor (Massillon, OH PD) killed with a high-power rifle by member of the Sovereign Citizens following a vehicle pursuit.

¨        December 2003: Deputy Danny Wilson (Abbeville Co, SC) Shot in the chest by an antigovernment extremist from inside his residence. The wounded deputy was then handcuffed and dragged inside the residence to lay in a pool of his own blood as he bled to death.
